Compare measurements with a shirt you own
Lay a well-fitting shirt flat and compare its chest width, shoulder width and length with the listing. Flat chest width is measured across the shirt near the underarms; it is not the full chest circumference. Sleeve length runs from the shoulder seam to the cuff. The Japanese measurement “yuki” runs from the centre back of the neck, across the shoulder, to the cuff. Always compare measurements taken in the same way.
Collar size and fit name alone do not tell you how much room there is through the body. If a measurement you need is missing, ask through the sales platform before buying.
Check the individual condition
Look at the photographs and description for collar and cuff wear, marks, buttons and repairs. Every pre-owned item is different. Clarifying any concerns before purchase helps avoid misunderstandings.
